Walking through some of the world’s strangest scenery, in Cappadocia, where the trails take us to a surrealistic landscapes of volcanic chimneys, excavated for use as houses by early Christians, gorges, vineyards, elaborately carved and frescoed rock churches and entire underground cities. West from the old city of Antalya with its shady palm-lined boulevards, narrow winding streets and wooden houses, are the idyllic shores of ancient Lycia. We slowly travel along the coast, landing to walk through scented hills and visit classical coastal sites, sea kayak to explore sunken cities, sail the Fethiye Bay, snorkel over sunken Roman ruins, search for the fire breathing monster, Chimaera of Mt Olympos.

Homestay On Taurus Mountains

Homestay has been the highlight of our guests by far over the years. Our hosts live in a small, non-touristy village on the Taurus Mountains and share their home with us. They built this house themselves to accommodate all the 4 siblings and their families so that they can spend holidays together. One of the brothers is a plumer, so the pluming is really good. 🙂 He house is consisted of 3 floors, each floor has 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom and one of the bedrooms has also an ensuite bedroom, all with great views of the Taurus Mountains. The house is 4 miles to a cave, where we hike and raft. We stay here with our guests for an unforgettable experience.
